A six-year-old girl has been rescued alive after spending nearly three days trapped under flood debris in Nepal’s Rasuwa district.

Rescuers found the child buried beneath mud and debris following the devastating flash floods that swept through the region. Her survival has brought a rare moment of hope amid the massive destruction and ongoing rescue efforts.

The girl was taken to Kathmandu for specialist medical treatment and is currently under close medical supervision.

With thousands of people still missing in the aftermath of the disaster, her rescue is being seen as a powerful reminder that hope can survive even in the most unimaginable circumstances.
