Researchers at Finland’s Aalto University and Germany’s University of Bayreuth have developed a groundbreaking, skin-mimicking hydrogel. By combining a water-based matrix with ultra-thin clay nanosheets and densely entangled polymers, the material heals up to 90% within 4 hours and fully repairs itself in 24 hours.
