Pope Leo XIV will make his third Apostolic Journey outside Italy to Africa from April 13 to 23, 2026, visiting Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea. The 11-day visit will span 11 cities and include meetings with political leaders, church communities, and civil society, alongside visits to mosques, shrines, hospitals, and charitable centers. He will celebrate Mass in key locations and address youth, clergy, and the faithful. The visit is expected to highlight themes of peace, interreligious dialogue, and the Church’s social mission.
