Not every city pays the same for robotaxi income. Here's where the math works first.

RANKING (Oct 2026):

AUSTIN — only Cybercab city (Sept 3), longest-running, TX rules, rides until 11 PM.

MIAMI — commercial since July 3. Tourism + nightlife, warm 365 days.

DALLAS — commercial since Apr 18. Huge metro, big demand.

HOUSTON — commercial since Apr 18. Sprawling metro, long trips.

LAS VEGAS — 24/7 tourism, NV OK'd 5,000 robotaxis. Not live yet.

PHOENIX — Waymo's turf, desert. Not live yet.

BAY AREA — safety-driver only; CA has no driverless permits.
Math (estimate): 150 paid mi/day × $1.80/mi = $270/day gross, minus ~$25 charging.
Caveats: regulation can shift fast, competition is coming.
