Delhi–Varanasi to Get India’s 2nd Bullet Train Corridor
Big update for Indian rail travel!
After the Mumbai–Ahmedabad project, India’s second high-speed rail corridor is planned between Delhi and Varanasi, led by National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited.
✅ Proposed route length: around 800–900+ km (final alignment under study)
✅ Expected top speed: 250–300+ km/h
✅ Travel time may drop to about 3.5–4 hours
✅ Around 12–13 planned stations including Noida, Jewar Airport, Agra, Lucknow & Prayagraj
✅ Currently in survey and planning stage
Once completed, this corridor will make long-distance travel faster, smoother, and more comfortable while boosting regional growth.
