TasteAtlas has released its latest global ranking of the world’s best soups, and Indonesia’s 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗶 proudly takes the #𝟭 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 with a rating of 𝟰.𝟳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀. Originating from Jakarta, this rich and creamy beef soup flavored with coconut milk, spices, and served with potatoes and tomatoes has become a beloved culinary icon of the capital city.
Sharing the same top rating are 𝗠𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗼’𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗿𝗶-𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗽è 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽, all tied with 4.7 stars, showcasing the diversity of flavors across continents.
