That tiny speck is Earth — captured from about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) away by Voyager 1 as it exited our solar system. All of human history, every life, every story… on that small Pale Blue Dot.

Today, Voyager 1 is over 24 billion kilometers (around 15 billion miles or 162 AU) from Earth — the most distant human-made object in space.
